Happy 2007
Yes, it is 2007, and for the first time this year I saw snowflakes last night! It's been very warm in Virginia this winter, and I have to be honest, I was thrilled to see the flakes. Such a picture of God's unique design, and a picture of His beauty.
My Christmas and New Year's were fun and busy. I didn't make it home for Christmas Day, but Jeanette, Jeremy and Jessica, and myself did manage a trip home for the New Year. It was busy, but fun. We all played lots of games, and enjoyed being together.
My little brothers are getting so tall! They are little men now; no longer the babies I used to carry around.
Work's fine and busy. The conference season has started and that is keeping me on my toes.
That's it for now.

Hi Julie,
I'm jealous! Snowflakes . . . I'm anxious to see a few too. I'm so thankful that you all were able to make it home and had some wonderful family time. You're certainly right about those little men. When I was walking up to your house Sunday evening I mistakenly thought Jeffrey was Jed . . . from a distance, of course as poor Jeffrey has no lovely red hair. ; ) Love from Illinois, the landing wishing for snow

Karen, I hate to say this, but, it wasn't your wishing for snowflakes that has brought us this lovely storm, was it? :)
Love ya Julie!

Hmmm . . . I don't recall wishing for ice, Janessa, just snow. : ) I imagine that just the mention of wintery weather brings to mind power outages which brings to mind overnight campouts in Joseph's room. I pray that's a fun memory that you all won't have to repeat anytime soon. Thank the Lord, all we need at our house thus far is a boat!
